Gal is featured on the Time 100 List for 2018. Lynda Carter wrote a highlight about Gal.

Gal Gadot brought Wonder Woman to millions of new fans. Her portrayal was magnificent and powerful, capturing everything that Wonder Woman represents.

She and I are lucky to be members of this small sisterhood, living and breathing this uniquely strong, smart and charming superhero. I know that as a person, Gal embodies all of these traits. She is a wife and mother; she has served her country, traveled the world, and is hardworking, loving, wise, goofy and full of humanity.

Wonder Woman has helped transform how women and girls see themselves since she emerged on a TV show in 1975. She represents what we know is inside every one of us: fierce strength, a kind heart and incredible valor. Gal understood and captured the spirit of this complex, independent, fully feminine persona. I applaud her for all of her success.

I like to look a little bit sophisticated, clean, simple and elegant, and I really like to be comfortable,” says Gadot, who also was one of the most tweeted-about Oscar stars in Givenchy fringe with a jaw-dropping Tiffany & Co. aquamarine necklace that had more than 1,000 diamonds. Says Stewart, “Gal is very confident, so fittings can go quick.”

TOP LOOKS The actress wowed in Altuzarra’s gilded warrior dress at the Justice League premiere. Says Gadot, “We had a gunmetal dress, and two days before the premiere, Elizabeth came with the golden one — it was perfect.”

In case you needed another reason to believe that Gal Gadot is a real-life superhero, the Wonder Woman actress is taking her talents to the world of fitness gear, as she’s just landed a gig as the latest face of Reebok.

The 32-year-old mother of two, who also recently became a global brand ambassador for Revlon, is starring in Reebok’s latest campaign in order to share the spirit of the brand’s “Be More Human” motto, which aims to inspire women everywhere to embrace fitness — which she’s been doing since a young age.

“Working out has always been a big part of my life, especially with having a mother who was a P.E. teacher, I was exposed to an active lifestyle from an early age,” Gadot shared in a press release. She joins Gigi Hadid, Victoria Beckham and Ariana Grande as partners for the brand. In the images, Gadot wears a lineup of leggings, tops and sports bras in a sophisticated black-and-white palette. (The pieces are all available at now.)

Gadot also shared her excitement for her new role on Instagram:

“I’m pumped about my new partnership with @Reebok! Together, we’re going to find the fun in fitness, and the strength in sports! Ladies, let’s play,” the star captioned the photo.

For the star, exercise isn’t just about staying in shape. It’s also a source of empowerment and self-esteem, she explains.

“Through fitness, I have found that I gain strength, endurance and confidence, and I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Reebok to join me on this journey.”

Most recently, Gadot used her athleticism to get in tip-top shape for her starring role as an actual superhero in Wonder Woman. So much so that she put on 17 lbs. of muscle specifically for the role.

“Since I’ve started [training], I’ve gained about 17 lbs., and it’s all muscle,” Gadot, 32, told Glamour. “I feel so much better now. When you feel strong, it changes everything — your posture, the way you walk. I look at photos from five years ago and think, ‘Whoa, I was too skinny. It’s not cool.’ ”

And although she doesn’t actually have super powers IRL, she shares many of the same characteristics with her on-screen persona.

“I feel very privileged that I got the opportunity to portray such an iconic, strong female character,” Gadot told PEOPLE. “I adore this character and everything that she stands for — love, compassion, acceptance and truth.”
