Gal Gadot Online

Justice League will finally unite the heroes of the DC Extended Universe and for many Wonder Woman is undoubtedly the MVP of the team, especially after the Amazonian warrior’s record-breaking standalone film became the most acclaimed entry in the franchise. In a recent interview, Gal Gadot discussed how Wonder Woman will play an important role in the group and why she enjoys being a part of the team.

Having previously described Wonder Woman as the glue of the team, Gadot elaborated on how the DC heroine’s empathy will extend to her new teammates and will be key to brining out the best in her new friends:

“When I got the script I made a point out of the importance of Diana being this glue to the team. That she would make each and everyone of them, even if it’s in small moments, feel stronger and loved and capable.”

Gadot also commented on why Wonder Woman will enjoy being a part of the team and feels a special kinship with this particular group of individuals:

“I think she enjoys working with a team. I think that after having the team on Wonder Woman, and working with them, and enjoying other people’s company, I think that she really feels good about fighting with them and also being among people who are similar to her because they’re all outsiders. Flash, and Cyborg, and Aquaman, and Bruce…they’re all outsiders. They’re all abnormal, and they’re loners, and they have these special gifts. And finally, after so long of being by herself, she has teammates. Which is wonderful.”

The inherent goodness – for lack of a better term – and desire to make the world a better place was one of the many qualities that made Wonder Woman the most beloved character in the DCEU to many. Personally, after the dreary and cynical tone of previous DCEU entries, it is reassuring to hear that Diana will retain the positive traits Gadot and Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins instilled in the character.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Amber Heard, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Connie Nielsen, Julian Lewis Jones and Ciarán Hinds.

Justice League will be released in theaters on November 17, 2017.

Gal shares with how she feels Wonder Woman would respond to Sexual Harassment … an important topic finally being addressed in Hollywood.

Sexual harassment is a big topic in Hollywood at the moment, but what does Wonder Woman feel about the subject? was on hand at the Justice League junket in London when Gal Gadot was asked how Wonder Woman would respond to sexual harassment. “I don’t think Wonder Woman will ever let anyone use his power against her will,” Gadot said. “Her will is very strong and so is she.”

Yeah, we don’t see Wonder Woman pulling any punches if confronted with that kind of behavior. They better have good insurance plans because they are likely going through a wall if stupid enough to pull something like that on the Amazon warrior.

As for Gadot herself, she recently shared some words of encouragement to the women who have come out against men like Harvey Weinstein.

“Bullying and Sexual Harassment is unacceptable! I stand by all the courageous women confronting their fears and speaking out,” Gadot said. “Together we stand. We are all united in this time of change.”

Since then more and more claims have been made, and Hollywood seems to be scrambling to adjust.

While Wonder Woman didn’t address sexual harassment, it did take on misogyny and the idea of feminism, presenting a take on it that doesn’t revolve around men vs women.

“Wonder Woman is a feminist, of course,” Gadot said. “I think people have a misconception about what feminism is. People think hairy armpits and women who burn bras and hate men. That’s not it. For me, feminism is all about equality and freedom and [women] choosing what we want to do. If it’s salaries, then we get paid equal to men. It’s not men vs. women or women vs. men.”

The film used Wonder Woman’s obliviousness to its advantage, taking on things that just should or shouldn’t be without preaching.

“It was important to me that my character would never come and preach about how men should treat women. Or how women should perceive themselves. It was more about playing oblivious to society’s rules. ‘What do you mean women can’t go into the Parliament? Why?’” Gadot said. “It’s just reminding everyone how things should be.”

Gadot will next be seen in Justice League, which hits theaters on November 17.
